The Sheriff’s Office has always relied on
citizens to report activity and be our additional eyes and ears. This
partnership has proven to be an effective means of combating criminal
activity. Often times particular areas of the county are subjected to
spikes in activity. In order to make you aware of the activity around
your neighborhood, we are publishing a generalized list of official
reports taken by the Sheriff’s Office. The list will be updated weekly
and then maintained by month.
In 2007 we took over 2,300 official reports and responded to over 10,000
calls for service. We encourage you to report any suspicious activity.
